Environment variables
An MCP server states in the source which environment variables it reads. This page counts the names and lists which entries name the same one.
Ordinary and secret required variables are two different raw declarations and therefore stand side by side. They are never added into one figure: a name can appear in both, and the sum would then be wrong.
Ordinary environment variables: 13,477 distinct names across 5,949 entries
Secret required variables: 2,540 distinct names across 2,852 entries
Names given by more than one entry
Listed are the 200 names named by at least 2 entries. The remaining 12,031 names appear in exactly one entry; their page does exist, but it would be the thinner version of that one entry page. It is therefore kept out of the index and not linked from here.
Which format the source states
string | 3,647 |
|---|---|
number | 221 |
filepath | 181 |
boolean | 120 |
The format comes from the source field format. It is a vendor's statement about its own variable and is neither checked nor added to here.
Version of the extraction rule: 1.1. The names are formed by splitting the stored raw declaration at the separator this registry set when reading it in. Counted across the 24,507 published entries.
