Version numbers
The registry carries two version statements from the same raw record: that of the entry and that of the packages.
They answer different questions and therefore stand side by side. They are never added up, because the same entries would be counted twice.

Reference size: 11,201 entries carry at least one package version. 28 entries name more than one package version. Each of them is classified by the first statement in its cell.
Both statements on the same entry
For 11,201 entries both statements stand side by side. In 10,832 cases the package cell also names the version of the entry, in 369 cases it does not.
This page counts what has been measured on the entries. The source, the collection date and the level of trust of every single value are on its own entry page; the rule a derived value is formed by, together with its raw declaration, is under Methodology. No value without evidence.
How this page counts
Version 1: Only the strict shape of three dot separated digit sequences at the start of the statement is read. Whatever does not fit is listed as such and is not guessed. The shape of the statement says nothing about how a package is looked after; this registry knows nothing about that.
